all Summer and late into the Fall until the freezing weather arrives.

If you have a Marine BBQ on the most days you may want to Barbecue (BBQ) your food. The small disposable propane bottles do not contain enough propane and heat to cook anything but the simplest meals. These bottles can also present a storage and disposable problem.Now you can stop using those Small Disposable Propane Bottles.

With our Propane Tank Holder and a refillable PROPANE Tank you can cook better,
more interesting and greater variety of meals that add to your on the water pleasure.

Marine Barbecue
We have Three Stainless Steel Propane Tank Holders.
We have redesigned our Tank Holder to be better suited for both the Steel and the Aluminum Propane Tanks.

These Tank Holders have been re-designed for use with the Manchester Tank Company
5lb, 10lb, 20lb, Steel Tanks and the 10lb Aluminum Tanks.

These Stainless Steel Tank Holders are often mounted on an aft railing stanchion close to and lower that the Rail mounted Barbeque.
Our Stainless Steel Tank Holders can also be easily mounted on the swim platform or on the transom using the Holder as a template for he hole locations

The Tank Holders are fully assembled and include the Stainless Steel Mounting Brackets.

 If there is a gas leak problem with this installation turn off the gas at the Propane Tank and do not use this equipment until the problem is solved.

MOUNTING LOCATION

The Tank Holder and the Propane Tank must be mounted in a vertical orientation
Propane Tank Must be always vented to the open air.

Do not mount the Tank Holder and Propane Tank inside the cabin or hanging inside the cockpit.

To reduce the friction between the Nyloc Nut and the Screw please lubricate the screw with liquid soap use a hand soap or a liquid dish washing soap. The soap will wash away and maintain the Nyloc lock function

 Stainless Steel Tank Holder Installation

Rail Stanchion Mounting

Select a suitable location (rear stanchion) near the BBQ appliance to be used with it.  Attach the Tank Holder using the stainless brackets on a stanchion. Position the holder so that the propane tank hangs outside and aft of the cockpit area.

Transom Mounting

Select a suitable location on the TRANSOM below the gunnell and near the BBQ appliance to be used with it.Use the Tank Holder as a template for drilling the holes through the transom.Attach the holder using Stainless Fasteners. A fender washer is recommended on the fasteners inside the transom and secured with a Stainless Lock Nut. Seal the holes with silicon or some other compound.

Swim Platform Mounting

Select a suitable location on the Swim Platform and near the BBQ appliance to be used with it.Use the Tank Holder as a template for drilling the holes through the Swim Platform
Attach the holder using Stainless Fasteners. A fender washer is recommended on the fasteners underside the Swim Platform and secured with a Stainless Lock Nut. Seal the holes with silicon or some other compound.

Attaching Your Tank to Stainless Tank Holder Bracket

1 The round base of the Propane tank must be set on the foot part of the Stainless Steel Tank Holder between the pegs and the upright section.
2 The Stainless Steel security cable (3/32 Dia x 18″) should be attached at this point locking the Tank,the Holder and the Stanchion together reducing the chance of having the Tank stolen or accidentally  falling into the water. Lock not included.
3 The LATCH at the top end of the holder is used to hold the tank securely in place .Do not remove the latch from the Tank holder as the small parts may be lost in the water.
4 Place the hooked end of the latch inside and on the base one of the rectangle openings in the handle part of the propane tank.
5 Tighten the nut on the latch fastener  so that the tank is securely in place.(LUBRICATE THE THREADS) To reduce the friction between the Nyloc Nut and the Screw please lubricate the screw with liquid soap use a hand soap or a liquid dish washing soap. The soap will wash away and maintain the Nyloc lock function
Do not over tighten. Check to confirm that the Tank is securely in place
6 Attach the Propane Gas Rated Hose (not included) between the BBQ appliance and the
Propane Tank as per instructions of the Barbecue BBQ appliance
7 Check that there are no propane gas leaks. Soapy water on the connection points will show some bubbles if the connections are not correct.

If there is a gas leak problem with this installation turn off the gas at the
Propane Tank and do not use this equipment until the problem is solved.
